Jayant Avinash Sinha is a software professional with over 10 years of experience in the design and development of end-to-end eCommerce applications and systems supporting them. He is currently interning in logistics at Bunge. Jayant has a rich experience in developing recommendation systems based on data-driven models using Mahout and Spark algorithms. In his previous role at Cogbooks, he designed and developed a framework based on user similarity for personalizing course recommendations in their adaptive learning platform. Jayant holds an Integrated M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He also attended Sun Shine School. Jayant's technical skills include software engineering, recommendation systems, Spark, and senior software engineering. He has previously worked as a software engineer at Tavant and as a senior software developer at Cogbooks. With his extensive experience in eCommerce application development and recommendation systems, Jayant is well-equipped to take on new challenges in the field of software engineering.
